Don't let the title mislead you. Seriously it was awesome. Keep the game the way it was with the story line and plot but make it more suspenseful and GEE I wish they would do my idea already. Do you have something to contribute to a remake? A dedicated team could probably remake it using all the remade elements from Outbreak, Zero, Darkside, etc.
The story line is still being writen at the moment, but the gameplay elements are mostly there scripts and all. I'd be more in favor of an RE2 remake if the series in general didn't have such a hard time getting past the Raccoon City disaster. An RE2 remake that mod is not, but it's clear a lot of work has gone into it. IceCarpediem, welcome to PU, and thanks for sharing. I'm sure those of us who play Fallout will be eager to check out the mod.
That mod looks pretty cool. I've always thought that an RE game in the Fallout style would work great; good work so far!
Currently it is being purely developed by 1 person and me Part 1 : Cause and effect - confusion, fear and focus on surviving kinda like Dead Island where the population turned to zombies over night. You play your main char till certain parts, then the game will switch you to one of the RE char, say example Jill, and you play as what she would do in RE3 to certain length will not be too long then switch back to your main char.
This is a parallel game play example that the both scenario is actually happening at the same time. Flash back gameplay would bring back memory kinda thingy, maybe Chris or Jill having flash back to the mansion etc etc.
Think of how the story flows in RE Revelations But all that is a huge undertaking in terms of scripting so Would never happen, especially the way I would want it eg. The umbrella chronicles and outbreak were I believe Capcoms attempt to appease fans instead of making an actual RE2 remake.
A remake of RE2 and RE3 would be amazing. I heard that they were supposed to remake them afer REmake but it would have pushed development of 4 too far off so they just made the ports for the gamecube. I would much rather have had the remakes over what we got in RE4. Playing RE0 and going down to the lab from 2 always gets me thinking how the remake whould have looked. I know, I think the same thing every time.
Especially when Rebecca examines the doors and it says something like "There's no need to search this area," or "You've already searched this place. I want to explore! Will there be the puzzles you have ot usually solve? Cause I had fun with those cause at the same time you'd find something else while solving the puzzles that had to do with the certain area or incident or anything about the situation.
However, due to limitation of the FO3 engine, the presentation of it might not be what RE fans are used to I've seen the vids you've posted of what you have so far. Nicely done! I love the shooting styyle and how the zombies come at you really reminds me a bit of Darkside Chronicles but I love it. Also how is the Crocodile enemy doin?Bahasa Indonesia.

First off, we would like to express our deepest appreciation to all Resident Evil fans, for your passion, enthusiasm and continued support for the Resident Evil brand. Hi Resident Evil fans! Thank you so much for your passion and continued support for Resident Evil brand! He was also telling me Hello RE fans!
This is H again! So, I just brushed it up and went to see my boss to present the basic concept of the project already…. Thomas Crewes Posts: Forum Member. I think fan demand will see it happen, but they'll bugger it up and make it play like the recent games!
It should be in the style of the REmake since that's the game which has re-ignited this interest. It'll pretty much be a straight up port with prettier graphics, not really something that'll take too much time or effort. Perhaps not on the same level as something like Final Fantasy VII, but still a lot of vociferous support from a large number of people. Given Capcom's recent failures, an RE2 remake in the style of the first would win back the majority of fans, I personally think it'll happen at some point.
It's happening. Septimus79 Posts: 22 Forum Member. Yes just watched a GameSpot video on it. A very long trailer aired yesterday Pre-ordering is now live.

Dogs of Raccoon City infected with the T-Virus. Make sure to take them out fast, and never let yourself be ganged up by these creatures. A mysterious hulking enemy that stalks you around the Raccoon City Police Station when it hears your gunshots. Be prepared to run, or make use of your powerful weapons to knock him out for a while.
Fast and strong, these zombies crawl on walls and ceilings. However, they are blind so you can sneak past them or use silent weapons. Using the shotgun or the grenade launcher can take them down fast. The Ivy's appearance is a combination of a Zombie and a plant. It attacks using the vines on its body. You need to shoot at the yellow bulbous tumors around its body to knock it down.
It attacks using its giant jaws which you need to avoid by running left or right. You can kill it by shooting at the pipe it bites on to cause a huge explosion. Grown version of G-Type Young. You need to fight against in close rangeand with its young ones across the floor you have multiple targets to deal with at the same time.
A Multi-form monster and mutated form of William Birkin. The creature known as G evolves the first to the fourth form. Avoid his large arm by keeping a distance between your self and G. The second form of the G Monster, it has an even more mutated arm and head. Be careful of continuous attacks by this enemy, and use the Crane to defeat it during the encounter. The third form of the G Monster.
This form's left side has mutated to match the right side of its body. The eyes that surround its body are weak points that you can shoot to expose its chest to deal a significant amount of damage. Its size also gave it a wide area of attack. Keep a safe space from G while shooting at it with the Minigun. G fifth form has mutated into a giant pile of meat. As it tries to consume the train, it will rarely attack. Shoot at its eye with high-powered weapons like the Minigun or the Rocket Launcher to kill it.
To survive this game, it's important to know your enemy and equip the appropriate items and weapons.
Resident Evil 2 REmake
Certain enemies only lurk in specific areas of the game, so equip the right items and weapons for these situations. Certain enemies like plants, are weak to fire damage. So prepare ahead and carry a flamethrower or a grenade launcher loaded with flame rounds to take them out easily. Try and see how weapons affect each body part. For example, headshots deal a lot of damage, especially with a shotgun.
While shots to limbs can stagger zombies and help you escape. We hope so! Capcom does not seem interested at all in making an optional camera, nor any type of VR support. A real shame. The game is due out tomorrow.
Tried the full game with the RE7 profile and it does the same as dSpect with the demo. One eye gets everything and the other loose some objects it gets the fogbut no other object in front. No Geometry 3D.Resident Evil 3 Remake - The Resident Evil 2 Crossovers
You adjust the strength and nothing happens. Because the full game works exactly the same as the demo, I suggest use the demo for Ralf and any other who has ideas for this. Yeah when I messed around with the shader slider one of them was first person view. Resident Evil 2 Remake Post on by Danbulance.

Despite that limitation, there are already some mods that you simply have to download to enhance your experience when returning to this classic zombie shooter, and some, like this Dino Crisis modthat are just dripping with nostalgia.
In the following slides we round up the best options currently available, including a handful of mods that make the game more like the original '98 version — which is kind of ironic, but sometimes nostalgia gets the best of us. These mods also cover major UI changes, such as adding in a first-person mode. Let's start off with the best mod hands down — one in which a Resident Evil 2 meme becomes reality.
X chases you around the mansion. This one requires a good deal of work, as it isn't available as a straight mod through any of the usual sites. Instead, you've got to download it through a file hosting service and then manually make changes to get the song to play. The links and files have been removed a few times already, but they keep popping back up. This is why we've linked to the instructional post above instead of directly to the mod.
All the fun and games of Mr. X and his theme song aside, sometimes he's just too much of a pain in the ass to deal with, especially if you've heavily modded RE:2 with a bunch of gameplay tweaks. When you just want to experience the story from beginning to end and not worry about hiding and dying for the umpteenth time, you can remove Mr. X from the equation entirely. Don't worry though -- he's still there for important scripted events.
That's a lot easier than many would have thought, as this nifty little mod shows. Surprisingly, the first-person mode is mostly seamless, with just a few hiccups here and there. If there's a top candidate for something from the mod community that the developers need to make official, it's this one right here.
You might not always want a big cheat mod that makes everything super easy and turns Leon invincible This is a very simple -- but very effective -- mod that replaces the portable safe puzzles with spare keys you can just directly pick up. Just keep in mind the mod only works when you start a new game, so you can't use this one with an existing save. The whole point of a remake is to bring a classic game up to modern standards, but some players may still prefer elements of the original RE2.
That's where this mod comes in, changing many of the remake's upgraded UI elements to those from the classic, old school release. Just want some of the changes but not all of them? A future update to the mod is expected to bring a toggle option so that you can choose which classic elements you want to keep and which to jettison. Right after the UI retools, color reshades, and infinite ammo mods landed online, it should be much of a surprise where the modding community went next.
There are already plenty of sexy variant Claire and Leon mods floating around to look through if you're into that sort of thing, the Claire Katz one is pretty fun. Rather than listing a bunch of the skimpy clothing mods, we'll just show you this one here, which at least puts in a character from another game. Now Claire is dressed up like android 2B from Nier: Automata! Another one clearly inspired by segments of Resident Evil 7this mod simply makes the game look more old school by adding in occasional VHS tracking lines.
